Vonessa Martin
Vonessa Martin is an award-winning actor, writer, storyteller, casting director, accidental financial manager, and non-accidental mother living in Portland, Oregon. Vonessa recently traded in Los Angeles traffic jam living for the Pacific Northwest fresh air lifestyle. Currently, Vonessa is writing for the true crime podcast, Small Town Forgotten. While living in Los Angeles, she co-founded the critically acclaimed Furious Theatre Company and was a writer/performer for ImMEDIAte Theatre. A Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award winning actor, some of her favorite acting roles include: Evelyn in A SHAPE OF THINGS by Neil Labute, Corryn in GIDION’S KNOT by Johnna Adams, Wendy in HUNTER GATHERERS, Pamela in Erik Patterson’s SICK and Kelly in THE PAIN AND THE ITCH. Film/Television credits include; NBC’s Grimm, ID’s Wonderland Murders, the independent feature film PURE SHOCK VALUE by Matt Pelfrey. Vonessa studied writing and acting at the acclaimed Second City Training Center in Chicago and at Illinois Wesleyan University.
