Ahh, the old bed trick… When Person A tricks Person B into sleeping with them by pretending to be Person C. Classic! Zeus did it, it’s in the Book of Genesis, and Shakespeare took it to comic heights in All’s Well that Ends Well. So why wouldn’t it work for college dormmates Lulu, Marianne, and Harriet?

Sparks fly in this effervescent bedroom farce by Seattle’s Keiko Green, where the joys of being young and frisky smash into questions of deception and consent. The Bed Trick is a fresh, sparkling comedy about sex, ethics, and Shakespeare.

A daughter and father embark on a shapeshifting road trip across the country. They fill their time doing regular father-daughter things: playing palindromic word games (r-a-c-e-c-a-r), digging up the past, picking up questionable hitchhikers, racing through the gelatinous landscape of their shared nightmares… So fun!

Portland-raised Kallan Dana’s Racecar Racecar Racecar is a tightly crafted, Lynchian thriller that dives into the complexities of memory, family, and the ties that bind — for better or for worse. Everything is great!

Get the boys together, we’re going on a quest! It’s been a hard year for Eddie, so he revives the old gang (his big brother and two childhood friends) and ropes them into an adventure to find a long-lost variety of apple once grown in their childhood stomping grounds. Amid the blur of chores, kids’ soccer practice, and the relentless daily grind, the guys embark on a quest for a legendary golden apple– only to find something much more valuable.

Mellon Foundation Playwright-in-Residence E.M. Lewis wraps up her 6-year residency at Artists Rep with Apple Hunters!, a funny and heartfelt story of men, friendship, and the power of showing up for each other.
