Kailey Rhodes

Actor

Kailey Rhodes is a Portland/Atlanta mutant hybrid, at least for today. When she’s not onstage or on camera, she’s a middle school teacher and education consultant. Favorite Portland credits include Middletown Mall at Third Rail; RENT and Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley at Portland Center Stage; Forbidden Fruit at Shaking the Tree; The Wolves at Portland Playhouse; Sense and Sensibility at Clackamas Rep; Urinetown and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Anonymous Theatre Company; and The Last Five Years, Into the Woods, and Ordinary Days at Broadway Rose Theatre. During COVID, she devised and directed Bluebeard, immersive car experience at Bag&Baggage alongside Cassie Greer, as well as directed and edited The Mythology of Blame, a short film produced by Portland Playhouse and Charles Grant. Film credits include the The Way We Speak, where she stars opposite Better Call Saul‘s Patrick Fabian. She is enormously grateful and excited to return to this cosmically delightful show at Artists Rep, where she was previously seen in the COVID before-times in Teenage Dick, An Octoroon, and The Importance of Being Earnest.

Our Mission

Artists Repertory Theatre’s mission is to produce intimate, provocative theatre and provide a home for a diverse community of artists and audiences to take creative risks.

Land Acknowledgement

ART acknowledges that our theatre rests on land that was stolen from indigenous communities. It belongs to the Cowlitz, Chinook, Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, and the Siletz — tribes that remain present, strong and vibrant.

ANTI-RACIST STATEMENT
Artists Repertory Theatre recognizes that we are a predominately white organization and operate within systemic racism and oppression, and that silence and neutrality are actions of complicity. We recognize the critical role the arts play in our culture and national conversation, and accept our responsibility to make positive change through our work, our practices, and our policies. We commit ourselves to the work of becoming an anti-racism and anti-oppression organization, and will work with urgency to end racial inequities in our industry and our culture.

Artists Repertory Theatre is recognized as a tax-exempt non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; tax ID number 93-0828781. Your contribution qualifies as a charitable contribution under the IRS Code.
