Domino D’Lorion (he/him) is a queer, Afro-Boriqua, actor, playwright, teaching artist & drag queen (Lady Cummeal) in the Twin Cities, originally from Chicago, IL. An alum of The Chicago Academy for the Arts, The Northwestern National High School Institute Theatre/Musical Theatre Program (Cherubs), and the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program with a minor in Business Management from the Carlson School of Management. He has appeared in Under the Gaslight with the Minnesota Centennial Show Boat, Boudica in the Dowling Studio at the Guthrie Theater, his award-winning original show STOOPIDITY at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, Hit the Wall at the Southern Theater with Mixed Precipitation, and After The Fires at the Illusion Theater with Transatlantic Love Affair. He is a founding member of the Minnesota Black Theatre Circle, and is currently producing the Blackness Is…Arts Festival, in partnership with The Guthrie Theater (www.blacknessis.com).

In his work as an actor/writer, he strives to investigate the human condition from the perspective of queer POC (specifically Afro-Latinx), marrying and upsetting traditional practices, in a variety of ways, both realistic and magical. Placing brown bodies and alternative perspectives at the forefront of storytelling.

Outside of performing, he enjoys drawing, cooking, hiking, bike-riding, sewing & design, reading, and playing video games. Domino is represented by Wehmann Models & Talent and Moore Creative Talent, Inc.

Our Mission

Artists Repertory Theatre’s mission is to produce intimate, provocative theatre and provide a home for a diverse community of artists and audiences to take creative risks.

Land Acknowledgement

ART acknowledges that our theatre rests on land that was stolen from indigenous communities. It belongs to the Cowlitz, Chinook, Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, and the Siletz — tribes that remain present, strong and vibrant.

ANTI-RACIST STATEMENT
Artists Repertory Theatre recognizes that we are a predominately white organization and operate within systemic racism and oppression, and that silence and neutrality are actions of complicity. We recognize the critical role the arts play in our culture and national conversation, and accept our responsibility to make positive change through our work, our practices, and our policies. We commit ourselves to the work of becoming an anti-racism and anti-oppression organization, and will work with urgency to end racial inequities in our industry and our culture.

Artists Repertory Theatre is recognized as a tax-exempt non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; tax ID number 93-0828781. Your contribution qualifies as a charitable contribution under the IRS Code.
