Amy Hakanson

It’s been a few years since Amy was involved with live theatre and she is thrilled to be working with Artists Rep. She has performed as a pit musician with Staged!, Lakewood Theatre Company, triangle productions!, Live On Stage and Stumptown Stages, and was involved with Original Practice Shakespeare Festival for several years as an actor and musician. She is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, in addition to being an avid player of American and Scandinavian folk music. Amy has played the violin for 20 years, and also plays the nyckelharpa, banjo, guitar, Hardanger fiddle, cello, mandolin and bass; she recently spent a year studying the Swedish nyckelharpa at the Eric Sahlström Institute. She has performed onstage with many local bands and is currently a member of Hayley Lynn and Friends and Rainlanders.
