While we face an unfathomable disruption of our ability to make and share live performance, we are taking this opportunity to develop new work with Resident Artists like E.M. Lewis, Andrea Stolowitz, and Ayanna Berkshire—the kind of work our community will need when we are able to gather together again—with joy and abundance. We are excited to announce what the 2020/21 season holds, with new ways to connect with artists, audiences, and members as we eagerly plan to begin again in that unforgettable moment when the lights rise on a full house, assembled safely.

Artists Repertory Theatre believes that stories help us make sense of the world. However, it is hard to make any sense of the racist, violent, and unjust murders of Black people in this country. Our hearts break and our anger rises due to the inhuman disregard for Black lives and the persistence of systemic racism. We stand in solidarity with those protesting for change. We acknowledge the feelings of fear, grief, and fatigue that ART artists, staff, and community members of color are experiencing. We will work with urgency for a world in which safety and justice are a right for everyone.
