JOSE LUACES(Rudy) Jose is thrilled to join the Artists Repertory Theatre family. He was recently seen on Broadway in A Christmas Story: The Musical. Jose was also part of NYC workshops of the musicals Big Fish and All That Glitters: The Liberace Musical. Other New York credits include: Venus Flytrap and Malvolio’s Revenge with New York Classical Theatre, and I Am Harvey Milk with Kristin Chenoweth at Lincoln Center. He has been spotted as a dancing beagle in the National Tour of 101 Dalmatians and traveled from Beijing to Edinburgh in Reel to Real.
Favorite regional credits include Sparky in Forever Plaid (New Theatre), Seussical (The Muny), Chino in West Side Story (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles (Forestburgh Playhouse), Prince Herbert in Spamalot, and Juan in Altar Boyz (Actors Playhouse).
Jose graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami and was a National Society of Arts and Letters Drama competition national finalist. Thank you, Mami y Papi.
