John Kammerle
John Kammerle is in his second year of the Conservatory Program at The Actors Conservatory and is honored to be making his stage debut at Artists Repertory Theatre. As a musician and audio engineer, John has worked over the last 15 years DJing night clubs and teaching at the non-profit Ethos Music Center and elective music courses for students K-12 in Portland Public Schools. He has released records on the Olympia based label K Records, once a home to such artists as Beck, Modest Mouse, and many acts associated with the feminist Riot Grrrl movement of the 1990s. After studying the Meisner technique with Chris Harder for a few years, John found his way to TAC. He loves the films of Éric Rohmer and Edward Yang. He wants to thank every teacher he’s ever had.
