Public Speaking for Everyone
with Zeina Salame
Come, ye business professionals, scholars, researchers, students, and all! Join us in this relaxed and friendly environment to build your confidence in front of a crowd and work toward your communication goals. We will practice introductory level theatre exercises formatted specifically to support skills like relating to broad audiences and infusing empathy, clarity, and vivid storytelling into your presentations. We will also discuss some practical and strategic differences between presenting speeches through virtual gathering platforms vs. in-person spaces. Assignments will vary based on participant goals but will likely include crafting and presenting the actual speeches some may have pending.
