Anthony holds a B.F.A. in acting and a Master of Theatre Studies: Production and Design from the Oregon Center for the Arts at Southern Oregon University. His 40 year career in theatre includes work as an actor, director, producer, and designer. Anthony was seen earlier this year in the world premier of Our Orange Sky at Profile theatre. Other recent credits include Antigonus and Old Shepherd in The Winter’s Tale at The Old Globe in San Diego. A forty year veteran of theatre Anthony has been based out of Portland for the past 15 years. Portland credits include Blind (Chapel Theatre); Lydia, Into the Beautiful North, American Night: The Ballad of Juan José, ¡O Romeo!, How The Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents, and Oedipus el Rey (Milagro Theatre); Island in Winter, or La Isla en Invierno (Bag&Baggage Productions); The Crackwalker (Sowelu Theatre); Hir (Defunkt Theatre); Davita’s Harp (Jewish Theatre Collaborative); Antony and Cleopatra (Portland Actors Ensemble) and King Lear, King John, and Mary Stuart at Northwest Classical Theatre Company. Anthony won the 2018 OTAS Best Supporting Actor Award for his portrayal of Bob Ewell in Lakewood Theatre Company’s production of To Kill a Mockingbird. Earlier this season Anthony directed Borderline at Milagro Theatre. Anthony is a member of Actors’ Equity Association. |
