R.L. Routh

R.L. Routh is a performer and artist originally from Washington State, currently living and working in Portland, OR. They received a BFA in Theatre Arts with a handful of minors and stage combat certifications from Southern Oregon University and are a graduate of PETE’s Institute for Contemporary Performance 22-23 cohort. R.L. is a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Portland-based experimental theater company Basement Stair Collective, a co-producer of Portland’s Stage Fright Festival, and on the “parade brigade” organizing committee of Sellwood, OR’s annual Everything Under the Sun Parade. When they’re not on- or back-stage, R.L. is a photographer and fiber artist, a lover of cats and coffee, and a collector of VHS tapes. They are so excited that they get to call this play in particular their Artists Repertory Theatre mainstage debut.
