About Our Current Space

Artists Rep opens its doors to organizations and individuals for a wide range of events, performances, classes and other activities throughout the year. 

Currently, the newly renovated Lobby Theatre is available for rental and collaboration. The 100-seat Lobby Theatre accommodates events of all types and sizes, with discounted rates for qualifying non-profit and partner organizations.

The lobby space provides the perfect setting for intimate receptions, parties, meetings, play readings, rehearsals, presentations, or corporate entertaining. If you’re looking for a distinctive venue for your next event, Artists Rep is a great choice for you!

Rentals

Artists Rep’s spacious and inviting Lobby Theatre is an ideal space to host readings, classes, comedy shows, lectures, and other mid-sized performance events – all with the unique Portland flair you’ve been looking for! Recently remodeled, the performance space is flanked by tall windows allowing for lots of natural light, and features high ceilings, a concessions bar, and a rotating art gallery with a rich red wall as a backdrop. 

The Lobby Theatre seats 100 patrons, with a standing capacity of 130. It is an ideal venue for plays and other performances, small conferences, speaker series, and workshops. Your special event can shine with creative, intimate flair.

Included Services

Rates include set-up, utilities, and house lighting plots. Additional labor needs will be estimated in advance by Artists Rep and charged at additional rates. For more information, please visit our rental rates form. 

Furniture

The Lobby Theatre furnished with xxx. This furniture may be used in any arrangement at no additional charge. A final floor plan is due 72 hours before your event.

Concessions & Catering

Concessions services may be provided depending on availability. All concessions are owned, and operated by ART staff. 

Ticket Discounts

Ticket discounts are available for groups of 10 or more and can be arranged through the event coordinator at time of rental reservation.

Parking & Transportation

Artist Rep sits on one 50-car parking lot as well as spacious bike parking. Your guests have easy access to both street parking and parking in our lot at a low cost. Exclusive parking lot use or vouchers may be arranged for some events directly through Artists Rep. The building is also easily accessed by several public bus lines and the MAX at PGE Park.

Payment

Artists Rep accepts cash, checks, Visa or MasterCard for rental payments. Events are considered booked upon confirmation from the rental coordinator, with receipt of completed rental contract signed by both parties, refundable cleaning deposit ($150), and non-refundable deposit (25% of total bill). Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the event.

Accessibility 

ART is an ADA accessible space. Requests for reasonable accommodations can be coordinated directly through Artists Rep.

Discounts

Non-profit organizations (501c3) receive a discount off the cost of any package price. Significant discounts are also available for Arts/RACC organizations.
