Acting I: Introduction to Acting

ALL levels of experience are welcome! Want to boost your confidence in social situations? Curious about acting but intimidated to take that first step? Already an acting student looking to reinforce the basics and challenge yourself in another environment? Interested in auditioning for something at a theatre in your area? Join us as we focus on learning essential skills, vocabularies, and professional standards through game playing, ensemble building exercises, and scripted scene/monologue work (assignments may vary based on specific student goals).

Instructions
Before each class, students will be sent an email with a link to login and any class-specific instructions.
Generally, students are encouraged to have a notepad & a pencil for note-taking.
Students are checked-in by name via the class roster, so no additional ticket or receipt is required!

Refunds and Exchange Policy
Artists Rep does not offer refunds for purchased classes.
Exchanges can be made on a case-by-case basis.
If Artists Rep cancels a class, the class will either be rescheduled or refunded.

Scholarships
The Actors Conservatory @ ART will award partial-tuition grants for Studio Program classes to qualified applicants. Please complete this application for consideration.
