Will McCandless

Will (he/him) is excited to be collaborating with Artists Rep! Will’s sound designs have mostly been heard in the San Francisco Bay Area where he has designed for AlterTheater, American Conservatory Theater, Aurora Theatre Company, California Shakespeare Theater, Center Rep, Magic Theatre, and Marin Theatre Company. Will has also designed for Virginia Stage Company and he is a former Collective Member of the never-silent San Francisco Mime Troupe. Will’s graduate studies were in theatre history and he focuses on the intersection of sound and dramaturgy in his designs. Will is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 and the Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association. He lives in Central Oregon where he produces the popular PRX podcast Skeptoid which takes a skeptical and scientific look at urban legends, pseudoscience, and misinformation.
