Assistant Director

Matt Pavik is in his second decade as a theatre professional in Portland and is excited to continue his artistic relationship with Artists Repertory Theatre! A jack‐of‐all‐trades theatre maker, he works primarily as a director and actor, and moonlights as a lighting, set, or sound designer. Matt’s most recent work has been as varied as acting in Portland Revels: The Ghosts of Haddon Hall, sound designing Burn This for Asylum Theatre, directing Fiction by Steven Dietz for Summit Theatre, assistant directing Chess at Lakewood Center for the Arts, directing several readings of new works for LineStorm Playwrights, assistant directing ART’s Marjorie Prime, acting in ART’s Superior Donuts, and recording voiceover for an Oregon Lottery commercial.
