Ithica Tell
Ithica Tell
Actor
Ithica Tell is ecstatic for the chance to play at ART in the Mercury Company. Recently heard in Profile Theatre’s recording of Mlima’s Tale, Ithica was last seen on stage playing voice 6/Mrs. Alexander in Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, on the heels of her outstanding portrayal of Yitzhak in the SOLD OUT run of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Portland Center Stage at The Armory. Ithica’s vast Portland resume includes her PAMTA winning performances of Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (StreetScenes), and Wanda in Crowns (Portland Playhouse.) She deftly portrayed Othello in Othello (Post5 Theatre), and delighted audiences in a one night only performance as Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Anonymous Theatre.) Stretching her wings with Chain Reaction Theatre, she relearned a show in German to play Ursula in Bon Temps Roulette at the Shakespeare Café (Bremer Shakespeare Company, Germany.) Ithica’s television endeavors extend to Portland favorites Grimm (NBC), The Librarians (TNT), internet hit The Benefits of Gusbandry (Amazon), and Life After First Failure (CW Seed). She can also be seen in the newly released film The Last Champion. Ithica would like to give big love to her sister Isha for “the acting bug” and Ethan, for bringing the perfect balance to her life with his love.
