Audition Training

July 15 - 19
1:00pm - 4:00pm

Auditions are an integral part of any performer’s life and opportunities are everywhere – school plays, BFA programs, and professional productions. In this workshop, students will develop their audition skills with customized feedback and coaching that will polish their interpretation, characterization, presentation, and delivery. Whether you are searching for the right monologue or you want to improve a monologue you are currently using, instructors Lucht & Mendelson will teach essential techniques for embodying truthful and dynamic characters, ensuring confident and effective auditions.

Performance Fundamentals

July 22 - 26
1:00pm - 4:00pm

Drawing from various training techniques -- Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, among others -- this course will incorporate text analysis, breath work, and physical/vocal life, in order to further train and elevate young theatre artists in scene work and monologues. Students will learn and apply the various techniques to the work, creating emotionally truthful, compelling performances, and deepening their knowledge of approaching character and story-telling.
