Musical Theatre Audition and Performance

Hone your skills in a fun, interactive, low pressure class.
This class will tackle repertoire, singing to your strengths and audition technique. It will help you make choices that are actable and clear. It will also touch on how to handle nerves, and what to do if you feel you “can’t sing.” Students should prepare to sing a song of their choice for the first day, preferably an audition cut and be ready for adjustments. Accompaniments can be found online by using karaoke tracks on YouTube or Spotify.

All skill levels encouraged to attend.
Suggested Accompanying Class: A Director’s Perspective for Actors & Directors, Acting I or II, Physical Character Lab, Acting in the Zoomiverse or The Art of Acting, Finding Meaning Today: Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream or Public Speaking for Everyone.

Before each class, students will be sent an email with a link to login and any class-specific instructions.
Generally, students are encouraged to have a notepad & a pencil for note-taking.
Students are checked-in by name via the class roster, so no additional ticket or receipt is required!
Refunds and Exchange Policy
Artists Rep does not offer refunds for purchased classes.
Exchanges can be made on a case-by-case basis.
If Artists Rep cancels a class, the class will either be rescheduled or refunded.
The Actors Conservatory @ ART will award partial-tuition grants for Studio Program classes to qualified applicants. Please complete this application for consideration.
