Christopher has designed several world-premiere plays including All The Way (OSF/ART/BROADWAY 2014 Tony Award for Best Play), Head Over Heels by Jeff Whitty and the Go Go’s, Fingersmith by Alexa Junge, The Great Society, The Clean House, Cloudlands, The Further Adventures of Hedda Gabbler, My Wandering Boy, Hold Please, The Beard of Avon, Electricidad (Garland Award – Best Costumes), Equivocation (OSF/Seattle Rep/Arena Stage), Throne of Blood (OSF/BAM Next Wave Festival), Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, The Tenth Muse, Living Out, and Peace, Water & Power, Border Town, Palestine New Mexico, Zorro in Hell and Chavez Ravine by Culture Clash, among others.

For seven years he was an ensemble member of the nationally acclaimed Cornerstone Theatre Company and has had the privilege of designing at many major regional theatres including the Goodman, Guthrie, Lincoln Center, CTG, ART, Yale Rep, Seattle Rep, South Coast Rep, Denver Center, Portland Center Stage, Artists Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, and Berkeley Rep to name a few.

He currently serves as a Commissioner with the Oregon Arts Commission, on the Board of Directors for Theatre Communications Group, and has served on the Steering and Advisory Committees for the Latino Theatre Commons. He’s also been on panels for the National Endowment for the Arts and for The Playwrights Center in Minneapolis and produces the Latina/o Play Project at OSF.

He is a recipient of an NEA/TCG fellowship and several awards. He received his MFA from the University of California, San Diego and his BA in Political Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

She joined the ART staff as Associate Producer and Production Manager in 2016 and was Production Manager for Third Rail Repertory Theatre and Portland Shakespeare Company prior to that.  Kristeen has freelanced in the areas of Lighting Design, Scenic Design, Properties, Technical Direction and Production Management. She was a full-time college professor of all things design and production from 2001-2011 and has taught courses and mentored students in scenery, lighting, props, sound, stage management, scenic painting, and technical direction. Since leaving full time teaching she has adjunct taught intro design, lighting, scenic painting and scenic design for several area colleges and managed the Third Rail mentorship company for three seasons.

An Artists Rep Resident Artist, Megan is also a member of the women’s theatre company The Rivendell Theatre Ensemble in Chicago and a founding member of the artistic collective Bad Soviet Habits. Since arriving in Portland, Megan has had the pleasure of working with Teatro Milagro (Óye OyáAmerican Night), Third Rail Repertory Theatre (The Realistic JonesesLungsThe Events), Profile Theatre (The Secretaries, Blue Door), defunkt theatre (The Children’s Hour), Theatre Vertigo (Jekyll & HydeThe Sexual Neuroses of Our Parents), and Northwest Classical Theatre (Wait Until DarkMary Stuart).

Prior to Portland, Megan spent 10 years in the Midwest where she worked with Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Next Act Theatre, The Skylight Opera, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Michigan Opera Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre and the Rivendell Theatre Ensemble. As Design Assistant, Megan spent two seasons at Oregon Shakespeare Festival (American NightThe Music ManRuined) and has long-running relationships with designers Marjorie Bradley Kellogg and Michael Ganio that have led to work on diverse national projects such as Kenny Leon’s production of the modern opera Margaret Garner to Bill Rauch’s Pirates of Penzance here in Portland. Rodolfo received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the University of Arizona and his Master’s of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music where he studied piano and composition. He has sound designed and composed for some of the most prestigious theatre companies in the United States including The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (Romeo and Juliet, The Tenth Muse) and Denver Center Theatre Company (The Three Musketeers, Romeo & Juliet). Rodolfo is also an Associate Artist with Santa Cruz Shakespeare (Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream Much Ado About Nothing, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Man in the Iron Mask, Henry IV, Parts I & II). His composition for Santa Cruz Shakespeare’s Love’s Labor’s Lost drew high praise from the Wall Street Journal who called his music “unexpectedly haunting”. Since 2008, he has composed an original musical every year for Northwest Children’s Theatre including Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, The Little Mermaid and El Zorrito (which was published by Dramatic Publishing in 2014). For Artists Repertory Theatre he has designed and composed music for Caught, The Liar, Feathers and Teeth, The Talented Ones, Trevor and Intimate Apparel. For Profile Theatre Company his credits include sound design and music for The Blue Door (Portland Drammy Award), A Lesson Before Dying, Lips Together Teeth Apart and Master Harold and the Boys. He has recently composed the music for Aurora Theatre Company’s production of The Monster Builder (San Francisco Drama Critics Award). He has also worked with Cleveland Playhouse Native Gardens and South Coast Repertory Theater The Monster Builder. He has composed for Miracle Theater Group including their productions of Lorca in a Green Dress (Portland Drammy Award), Ardiente Paciencia, Elliot a Soldier’s Fugue. He recently was commissioned to compose the music for Oye’ Oya’ a bilingual musical adaptation of The Tempest for Teatro Milagro. Rodolfo composed the scores for Oregon Children’s Theatre’s productions of Charlotte’s Web, Tuck Everlasting (Portland Drammy Award), BFG, Holes and Cyrano. Additionally he composed the music for the recently published play The Illustrated Bradbury by Ray Bradbury. Rodolfo recently won the Prague Quadrennial Competition in Music for his composition for Artist Repertory Theater’s Magellanica where he was a featured Artist in Prague in June 2019.

Before arriving in the Pacific Northwest, he spent nearly a decade as a lead sound designer in New York City.

He has previously served as a visiting assistant professor, lead designer, guest artist, instructor, or lecturer at Reed College, Yale, Fordham, Columbia, Willamette, Ohio, Portland State, and Butler Universities. 

Sharath is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829, The Theatrical Sound Designers and Composers Association (TSDCA), and is an Arts Envoy for the U.S. Department of State. He holds an MFA in Sound Design from the Yale School of Drama, a BFA in Production Design & Technology from Ohio University, and is very proud to be a Resident Artist at Artists Rep.
