Thousands of employers match the charitable gifts of their employees and retirees. Some companies even double or triple the amount of your gift – at no cost to you! Fill it out and mail or email the form to: Artists Repertory Theatre, Development Department, 1515 SW Morrison, Portland, Oregon 97205 or email@example.com.
Gifts of appreciated securities are simple to make and often have tax-benefits for you. Donors can receive, in the form of a tax deduction, the full fair market value of the stock at the time the gift is made, as long as the stock has been held for at least one year.
Artists Rep’s easy, cost-effective process for handling gifts of appreciated securities is as follows:
- Alert Development Director Sarah Taylor, 503.972.3017 of your intent to donate appreciated securities.
- Contact the office of Bianca Urdes at UBS Financial Services at 503.603.1228 to inform them of your intention or forward by letter or fax to UBS Financial Services a statement that you are transferring shares to Artists Repertory Theatre.
- Upon receipt of the shares in good order, UBS Financial Services will liquidate the securities in the most cost-effective manner for Artists Rep. UBS Financial Services will document the receipt and sale of the donated stock to the donor and to Artists Rep.
- Artists Rep will issue an acknowledgement letter to you, the donor.
