We are excited to welcome Portland Actors Conservatory into our ArtsHub space. With youth theatre camps, adult acting classes and more, PAC is bringing a jolt of new energy to the Artists Rep building.

Founder and Producing Artistic Director Beth Harper says, “While we loved our time at the old Firehouse Theatre, when the opportunity arose to surround our students with a thriving artistic community located in a high-caliber LORT theatre such as Artists Rep, it was just too great of an opportunity to pass up. We are excited by the collaborative possibilities and the continuing growth of the Portland Actors Conservatory in our new home."

This nationally accredited acting school is sharing the ArtsHub space with August Wilson Red Door Project, the Geezer Gallery, Hand2Mouth Theatre, Isinglass, Portland Area Theatre Alliance, Portland Revels, Portland Shakespeare Project, Profile Theatre, Risk/Reward Festival, Staged!, and LineStorm Playwrights.

Since 1985, Portland Actors Conservatory has provided the highest standard in actor training in the Pacific Northwest. As one of only a few stand-alone schools accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre, students from across the country vie for a coveted seat in the program. Producing Artistic Director Beth Harper leads the faculty of distinguished theatre professionals as they train students for professional careers in theatre and film. Portland Actors Conservatory also offers a variety of programs and involvement opportunities for theatre lovers of any age and experience level. Founded in 1985, Portland Actors Conservatory is the premiere school of actor training in the Pacific Northwest accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre and licensed by Oregon Higher Education.
